If you have got this device and looking for a way to root it, you are on the right page as I have given a step by step tutorial to root Huawei Honor 8 here.
By following the tutorial given here, you will be able to install TWRP recovery and root Huawei Honor 8 smartphone. Once you have gained root privileges, you will be able to install custom ROM firmware and do a lot more things with your device.
WARNING: Rooting your Huawei smartphone will void its warranty, and you won’t be able to claim it back unless you unroot your device. Also, sometimes rooting might get your device. So, if anything bad happens to your smartphone, don’t hold us liable.
Prerequisites:
Step 1: The rooting procedure given here is a data loss process. So, before getting started with the rooting process, take a complete backup of personal data in your smartphone using appropriate apps.
Step 2: Next, enable “Developer Options” in your device by following this path: Settings -> About Phone -> Build Number (tap on it for 5-7 times to enable it). Now, enable “USB Debugging” by following this path: Settings -> Developer Options -> USB Debugging.
Step 3: Ensure that your device has at least 50-60% battery backup in it before getting started with the rooting process. Also, make sure that you have disabled antivirus applications from your computer as they tend to disrupt the rooting procedure.
Once you have finished these prerequisites, you can move forward to the tutorial given below.
