Lenovo P70 is a good quality Android smartphone from Lenovo Group Ltd. The device comes with 5 inch IPS LCD touchscreen display, which is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor along with 2 GB RAM and the device runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. By following the rooting tutorial given here, you will be able to root Lenovo P70 smartphone and get the ability to install custom ROM firmware’s, stock recovery or custom recovery, custom-built Android apps that only supports rooted devices, etc.

Prerequisites:
Step 1: To get started, take a complete backup of personal data in your smartphone using appropriate apps. Even if you lose all your data while trying to root your device, you can use the backup to restore your data.
Step 2: Download Lenovo P70 USB driver and install it in your computer. By doing so, you will be able to connect your Lenovo device with computer successfully.
Step 3: Enable USB Debugging mode in your Lenovo smartphone by following this path: Settings -> USB Computer Connection -> USB Debugging.
Step 4: Ensure that your device has at least 50-60% battery backup in it as the rooting procedure is a time-consuming one.
Once you have finished all these prerequisites, you can move forward to the rooting tutorial given below.
Tutorial To Root Lenovo P70 Android Smartphone:
Step 1: To get started, download Lenovo P70 rooting kit, extract it and save its content in a folder in your computer.
Step 2: Next, dial *#*#3646633#*#* in your Lenovo smartphone. Once done, you will get a list of options. Select “User2Root” and in the next screen, click on “Root“.
Step 3: Now, connect your smartphone to the computer using the original USB data cable. Once done, go the folder where you extracted the rooting files and run the RootKitKat.bat file to begin the rooting process.
Step 4: It will take a minute or two for the rooting kit to finish the rooting process, and once it is done, your device will automatically reboot.
That’s it. Now you have successfully finished rooting Lenovo P70 Android smartphone. For confirmation, look for the SuperSU app in your device. If you can find it under the list of apps on your smartphone, then your device is successfully rooted. Alternatively, you can confirm the root privileges of your device by using the Root Checker for Android application.
