Are you using a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900A smartphone? If yes, are you searching for a way to root your device? If yes is your answer, then you are in the right place as I have given a step by step tutorial to root Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900A.
By following this tutorial, you will be able to gain root privileges on your device. Once you do that, you can do a lot of development activities on your smartphone, including the installation of custom ROM firmware, etc.
Note: Rooting your Android smartphone will void its warranty. So think well about it before getting started with the rooting procedure.
Step 1: Since the rooting method given here is a data loss process, make sure that you take a complete backup of personal data on your smartphone using appropriate apps.
Step 2: Next, ensure that your device has at least 50-60% battery backup in it before getting started with the rooting procedure.
Step 3: Now enable the USB Debugging Mode in your Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900A by following this path: Settings ->Developer Options -> USB Debugging. If you can’t see the developer options in your device Settings, then enable it by following this path: Settings -> About Phone (tap on the Build Number for 5-7 times to enable it).
Step 4: Once done, download Samsung Galaxy S5 USB driver and install it on your Windows computer so that you can connect your device to it.
Once you have finished all these prerequisites, you can move forward to the rooting tutorial given below.
