Hello…I been having the most difficult time trying to unlock my bootloader for my moto z3 play.
So far I have downloaded the drivers from Motorola’s website.. I have downloaded the ADB and fastboot. I turned on USB debugging and turned on OEM unlock in developer mode. I go to the fastboot menu on my Moto z3 play and i connect my USB cable to my computer. I see on that screen that I am connected via USB cable successfully. On my windows machine I right click the ADB and it brings me the command prompt. Unfortunately, when I put in the follow command adb reboot bootloader, i get a failure message and when i put in the command fastboot devices command it sees my phone and when I put in the final command of fastboot oem get_unlock_data it doesn’t give me the unlock information. I get another failure option. I also went to my device manager and it doesn’t show my Motoroloa phone in the list nor does it show under This PC using my Windows Operating System. I am lost and would love any help. Thank you for taking the time to read this and get me moving forward with the process.
