Hello and thanks for all the advice and help offered here.
I have an UMIDIGI S2 Pro, and I tried everything for the S2, but it cannot connect to the PC. Still getting errors. Do I have the correct drivers? Will the S2 drivers work for the Pro version?
In device manager, the S2 Pro appears, but has an Exclamation point against it and states:-
“Windows cannot start this device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)”
Any advice? Thanks in advance.
Michael.

Hi,
Seems that I have the same problems as others, days trying to get adb to load, tried many options and instructions from the web, tried android studio to, no go.
Next tried downloading android sdk manager, ended getting release r16 sdk manager, as it was the only one with sdk download manager, nothing else worked, and niether did this,
Something that should be easy to do, has been extremely difficult, lots of hours and no progress.
Many of the explanations fail to give precise instructions, when to plug in the phone to usb, when not to, a mishmass of conflicting information, an no answer to the problem, numerous programs that claim to do it all, most can only be described as laughable, because they DO NOT WORK.
If there should be anyone who can advise an EASY way to do this, let me know as I think I`ve tried nearly everything, other than one surgestion, format the hard disk do a clean install of windows, then start again, HaHaHaHa

To those who are getting the “code 10 error” and exclamation mark on the Android ADB Interface in Device Manager, don’t waste your time. Here is why:
1. The author get the SAME issue as seen by his LAST screen shot in above instructions. It clearly states “SW for this device is now installed, but may NOT work correctly; The device cannot start. (Code 10)”
2. Many have complained about this and the recommendations are either “uninstall/reinstall” or “scan for HW changes in device manager”.
a. The latter is not necessary as it is automatically done upon driver install. g the problem/error?
b. Uninstall/Reinstall is usually the way to ignore root cause and suggest “something went wrong with install”. While this may happen sometimes (very seldom) the fact that many (if not most) user comments above suggest they got the same issue, this points to something major at flow in this process/procedure.
I am using Windows 10 Enterprise, and the phone I am testing on is LeEco Le S3 x522 US version (snapdragon 652 with 3GB RAM). My background: 20 years experience in IT. Here is my issue for those who wish to compare what they are facing:
A. I have always been able to attach and recognize phone for file transfer (long before I tired this procedure) and able to reboot via adb using the default driver that is auto loaded via windows 10 connection.
B. However, after rebooting to bootloader “fastboot devices” does not see the phone. I have tried all the above recommendations (even if I did not believe they sense, but just to give the benefit of the doubt) and then some, and nothing works with those drivers. This procedure did not help fix this problem.
Sathishkumar Varatharajan, your willingness to help is commendable, however, as you notice from the comments, there are many who are getting the code 10 error (as you did as well given your last screen shot above). I recommend that you add a comment to you procedure about this issue and that the procedure/drivers may not work for all (rarther than giving false hopes and add to much wasted effort). Thank you.
If I come up with a solution to the problem I am facing, I will post back here.
