Have you used KingRoot one-click Android rooting application to root your Android smartphone or tablet? If yes, are you now looking for a way to uninstall KingUser app from your device? Well, if yes is your answer again, then you are on the right page. Here, I have given a step by step tutorial on how to uninstall KingUser android app for those devices which have been rooted using KingRoot application.
One of the main advantages of uninstalling KingUser application from your Android device is that it will also help you to unroot your smartphone or tablet, thereby helping you to get back the warranty of your device.
WARNING: Uninstalling KingUser app will remove root access from your device, and you won’t be able to use Android applications which requires root permissions. So, beware of it before getting started with the procedure given below.
Prerequisites:
Step 1: The procedure for removing KingUser given here will work only on Android devices that have used KingRoot for rooting. Since we haven’t tried this on devices that have been rooted using other rooting apps, and we can’t guarantee whether this tutorial will help to remove KingUser.
Step 2: Make sure that you have uninstalled the KingRoot application, which you have used for rooting your device. Also, ensure that your device has a decent battery backup before getting started with this uninstallation procedure.
Once you have finished the prerequisites given above, you can go ahead and get started with the procedure given below.
How To Uninstall KingUser And Unroot Your Android Device:
Step 1: To get started, go to your Apps menu, click on the KingUser app icon and open it up.
Step 2: Once the app is launched, click on the “Settings” icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen to launch KingUser settings.
Step 3: Now, in the KingUser general settings screen, click on “Root Authorization Setting” to launch up the settings screen.
Step 4: In the “Root Authorization Setting” click on “Remove Root Permission” option.
Step 5: Now, a prompt will show up with the message “Remove Root Authorization completely and return to Unroot status, Proceed?“. Click on “Clear” to begin the “Remove Root Permission” process.
Step 6: Once you click on “Clear“, you will see the “In Progress” message along with a progress circle as shown in the screenshot below.
Once the progress prompt gets closed, the uninstall process of KingUser will be successfully finished. Also, you have successfully unrooted or removed root access from your Android smartphone or tablet. Now, you can use the Root Checker app to confirm the unrooting process.
Instead of completely removing Kinguser, if you would like to replace it with SuperSU app, follow our guide on how to replace Kinguser with SuperSU.
If you encounter any issues while following this KingUser uninstallation and unrooting procedure of your Android device, do let us know by leaving a comment below.

I’ve been searching for a way to get rid of Kingroot. The thing never rooted my tablet and I’ve tried to uninstal it, but it won’t uninstall. I can’t get rid of it. I’ve written to Kingroot TWICE and never received a reply! Do NOT install this junk, it will mess everything up. If anyone can offer any way to get rid of this crap, I’d be so grateful!

For those who wants to remove Kingroot but the device was unsuccessful with rooting process, then go to
Settings — Security — Device Administrators
Uncheck KingRoot
Then go to
Settings — App Manager — Kingroot
And you should have Uninstall option.
I just successfully did it on HTC6435LVW, Android 4.4.2, HTC Sense 5.5.
Hope this helps.

i have root and unroot with kingroot on the same device twice and encountered no problem.
i decided to removed it and just return to unroot since something was not right. it may have something to do with another app, i dont know.
but the main purpose of rooting was to be able to install apps to sd card, since i have link2sd premium. i was able to do such, but im not really sure where the instability is coming from. my mobile would randomly turn off, sometimes wifi is not working.
but this issues wasnt there until i made some changes and root the device with kingroot.
i cleared the root permission and uninstall it via the option on the app itself
it was kingroot 5.2 and my phone is an asus zenfone go lite zb500kg

Kingroot is the worst (most deadly?) rooting app I have ever seen, which I regret using to this date. The app installs itself as system app post root, and is afterwards not only un-removable, but re-installs and pulls itself out of a disabled state. Not only that, but post doing so it attempts to download KingUser and other Tencent apps on its own. Even more stunningly, the reinstall happens during graveyard timings, never during the day or evening. Without doubt one of the most effective malwares ever made.
I first tried Kingroot in 2016, more than a year later I still have the same problem about once a month, usually. But no permanent solution at all. SuperSU replacement = failed, re-root via system to uninstall = failed. Short of bricking the phone (and I am not sure if even that will work) there is no way to remove it.
Use Kingroot only if you want to see what a great malware looks like.

100% agree, it’s an A1 piece of Malware, allowing access to root access, but then not removable, i just got a new phone, and there is no way i’m making the same mistake of downloading this app again.
