Hi! I tried to root my Samsung Galaxy S4 using your script, but got this error:
“error: only position independent executables (PIE) are supported.”
After doing some searching I found this article:
https://yurushao.info/tech/2016/03/14/Android-PIE.html
So I did as it says (changed the 17th byte of the file ‘pwn’ from x’02’ to x’03’, but now I’m getting this error:
“[-] Failure.”
on the line “adb shell /data/local/tmp/pwn”
No other error message is displayed, just “Failure”. Any suggestion?
Thanks.
